Folks celebrated National Fish Taco Day on Jan. 25, but it’s never too late to have a TKO Taco, featuring grilled mahi mahi, chipotle aioli, escabeche slaw, lime crema, guacamole, crispy onion strings, and fried cilantro. Ocean views make this Mission Beach spot a local favorite for classic coastal bites.

City Tacos
For a modern take on Baja street food, try the Sonoran Fish Taco at City Tacos. Crispy battered fish is topped with cabbage, pico de gallo, and house-made sauces, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. Available at multiple San Diego locations.

The Duck Dive, Pacific Beach
The Blackened Mahi Taco layers perfectly seasoned mahi with house slaw, pickled radish, micro cilantro, and jalapeño crema. Beachside vibes and fresh flavors make this taco a Pacific Beach staple at the Duck Dive.

At Quiero, the Mike Hess Fish Taco pairs battered basa with cabbage, pico de gallo, and chipotle-lime aioli for a taste of coastal Mexican cuisine. Both Seaport Village and Imperial Beach locations are serving up this award-winning favorite.

Go Greek Yogurt — New Vegan Acai Flavor
San Diego’s Go Greek Yogurt is serving up fresh, wholesome Mediterranean-inspired bowls with protein-packed, low-sugar yogurt options. It’s new vegan Acai flavor blends acai with Go Greek’s signature Greek yogurt base for a thick, rich, creamy, and lightly tangy treat.

The menu features customizable yogurt and frozen yogurt bowls, signature flavors like Plain Tart, Greek Honey, and Chocolate, seasonal selections, and toppings ranging from fresh fruit and granola to premium options like pomegranate, flax seeds, toasted coconut, and authentic Greek honey. Stone Brewing Hosts Winter Wins Carnival to Fight Food Insecurity

Stone Brewing Liberty Station Transforms Into Grown-Up Carnival for a Cause
Stone Brewing Liberty Station is turning into a whimsical, grown-up carnival as the Junior League of San Diego (JLSD) hosts its annual Winter Wins: Carnival & Live Auction, raising funds to combat food insecurity across the county. With 1 in 4 San Diegans facing nutrition insecurity, every ticket, bid, and bite helps JLSD provide families with access to healthy food.

The 21+ event kicks off at 12 p.m. with aura photography, a tarot card reader, a build-your-own flower bar, classic carnival games, craft brews, and gourmet bites. At 3 p.m., the live auction begins, featuring exclusive items and experiences, with proceeds supporting JLSD’s advocacy, partnerships, and direct service programs fighting hunger in San Diego.

“For three years, Winter Wins has been an incredible way to gather, have fun, and give back,” said Megan Bores, winter event committee chair. “Every dollar raised helps families in our community access the food they need to thrive.”

Tickets are $50 for general admission and $75 for VIP. The event runs 12–4 p.m. at Stone Brewing Liberty Station, 2816 Historic Decatur Road, San Diego, CA. Free parking is available. Learn more at jlsd.org.

Karl Strauss Brewing Co. — 37th Anniversary Special
For one day only on Sunday, Feb. 1, Karl Strauss Brewing Co. celebrates 37 years with all core beers for just $3.70 a pint at its four San Diego brewpubs in 4S Ranch, Carlsbad, Downtown, and Sorrento Mesa. Selections include Red Trolley Ale, Follow the Sun Lager, Tower X West Coast IPA, Boat Shoes Hazy IPA, Aurora Hoppyalis IPA, and more.

Also debuting for the first time, the brewery’s World Beer Cup–winning Golden Stout has been aged in bourbon barrels and is available on draft and in limited 500ml bottles. Brewed with San Diego’s own Bird Rock Coffee, it’s a must-try for stout lovers. Founded in 1989, Karl Strauss was San Diego’s first post-Prohibition brewery.

PRK 101, Carlsbad — Outdoor Super Bowl Viewing & Drink Packages
PRK 101 in Carlsbad Village offers an outdoor courtyard with a large LED screen. For groups, the Super Bowl Drink Package ($250) includes eight Happy Dad Hard Seltzers, 10 Baby Michelob Ultras, and two bottles (375ml) of vodka, tequila, or whiskey with mixers. A la carte drink specials include $5 pints of Bud Light, eight Happy Dads for $30, and 10 Baby Michelob Ultras for $25.
