
Who doesn’t love SPAM, especially when it’s free?
L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in San Diego joins locations nationwide in celebrating the fifth annual National SPAM Musubi Day on Friday, Aug. 8—a day that honors Hawaii’s iconic handheld snack.
Visit the El Cajon location, and enjoy a free SPAM Musubi from noon–2 p.m. (while supplies last), along with extended specials, live entertainment, and a special appearance by Hormel Foods’ mascot MUSU, who will be available for selfies.
Franchise owner Rudy Arucan will host a daylong celebration at his El Cajon location, bringing together authentic island flavors with the laid-back spirit of San Diego. Festivities include:
- Free SPAM Musubi from noon to 2 p.m. (limit one per person, while supplies last)
- SPAM Musubi all day from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., or 10 for $8.08
- Live Hawaiian music from 11:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Appearance by MUSU, Hormel Foods’ official mascot
