San Diego will host an open casting call for the sixth season of FOX’s MasterChef on Saturday, September 13th.
The call will be held at the Westin from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. San Diego is one of 11 cities holding open calls.
MasterChef is in the processing of wrapping up its fifth season this month, with five contestants left standing. The show is judged by Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliott, and Joe Bastianich, and focuses on home cooks who compete for a cash prize and the title of Master Chef. Previous years’ winners include Christine Ha, a blind graduate student, and Luca Manfé, an Italian-born restaurant manager.
The show debuted on FOX in 2010, and now airs in over 30 countries, with approximately 6 million viewers.
