An investigation was under way Thursday into the death of a man who fell from the Old Town Trolley platform and was fatally run over by a Metropolitan Transit System trolley.
The fatality in the 4000 block of Taylor Street was reported at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to San Diego Police Sgt. Brad O’Donnell.
The man, in his 60s, died at a hospital, O’Donnell said.
