The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Saturday to its lowest amount since Jan. 24, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $3.275, the 23rd consecutive decrease.

The average price has dropped 14.2 cents during the streak, including 1.3 cents on Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 4.5 cents less than one week ago, 14.5 cents lower than one month ago, but 5.6 cents more than one year ago.
