Homicide detectives sought Thursday to identify and track down a man and woman suspected of murdering the proprietor of an East Village flooring-materials store at his downtown business.

A customer made an emergency call shortly after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to report finding 49-year-old Ghedeer Radda dead inside Bottom Price Flooring, 1015 G St., according to San Diego police.

Radda’s body bore signs of suspicious trauma, Lt. Matt Dobbs said. Details on those injuries were not released, and a ruling on the cause of the victim’s death was on hold pending autopsy results.

A surveillance camera inside the business captured images of the suspected killers — a man wearing a gray-haired old-woman mask and a light- skinned woman with long purple hair, possibly a wig. The pair fled the area on foot, Dobbs said.

Police released no suspected motive for the slaying.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477 or contact the agency online at sdcrimestoppers.org. Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
