A water main break in Mission Hills Wednesday left about 20 customers without water service, with flooding reported at one property.
The break was reported at 3:45 a.m. near the intersection of Fort Stockton Drive and Ibis Street. The 8-inch service line was capped about 5 a.m., according to the city Public Utilities Department, and crews were working on repairs.
The extent of the damage at the property affected by flooding was not immediately clear.
A water wagon was brought on site for customers to get water for cooking, drinking and other needs until repairs are completed. Service is expected to be restored by around 2:30 p.m., according to the Public Utilities Department.
