At least one person was killed in a single-vehicle crash late Thursday night in in the rural East County community of Campo, according the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash was reported about 11:15 p.m. at 1654 Buckman Springs Road, according to a CHP incident log.
Few details of the crash were immediately available, though the CHP incident report said it was a single-vehicle crash and personnel from the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office was asked to respond.
