A vehicle caught fire on the westbound Interstate 8 in Grantville, causing traffic congestion in the area on Friday afternoon.
It happened at the Mission Gorge Road and Fairmount, according to a traffic warning issued by SigAlert.
California Highway Patrol also confirmed that traffic is heavy on Interstate 8 in the area of Mission Gorge Road in Grantville due to a vehicle fire on the westbound side of the freeway.
No injuries have been reported.
