Caltrans announced this week it has scheduled separate closures on westbound and eastbound State Route 52 on Tuesday night for paving work associated with construction of a new culvert beneath the highway lanes.
Crews will close westbound State Route 52 from Interstate 15 and to Interstate 805 at 9 p.m. until about 1 a.m.
Crews will reopen westbound State Route 52 and then close eastbound from Interstate 805 to State Route 163 until 5 a.m.
The corresponding connector ramps to Interstate 15, State Route 163 and Interstate 805 as well as the on- and off-ramps to Convoy Street will also be closed.
During the westbound State Route 52 closure, westbound motorists will be detoured to southbound State Route 163, to westbound Interstate 8, to northbound Interstate 5 and then to State Route 52.
The detour for the eastbound State Route 52 closure will be to take southbound Interstate 805 to eastbound Interstate 8, and then to northbound State Route 125 to eastbound or westbound State Route 52.
