Authorities were on the lookout Wednesday for an unidentified rapist who attacked a woman this week at an RV park on the grounds of Viejas Indian Reservation.
The victim had just entered a stall in a women’s restroom at Ma-Tar-Awa Viejas RV Camper Park on Browns Road about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday when a long-haired man in blue jeans and a black long-sleeve T-shirt approached her from behind, said, “Hey,” and began forcibly having sex with her, according to sheriff’s officials.
The attack ended a short time later, when the 30-year-old woman implored the assailant not to hurt her. At that point, he stopped and fled, Lt. Dan Brislin said.
The victim, who did not get a good look at the man, described him as about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 200 pounds, with dark hair to the middle of his back.
“The victim did not see the (attacker’s) face and does not know his age or race,” the lieutenant said.
