No. 8 UCSD Women’s Soccer clinched their first CCAA title since 2012 Thursday after defeating Cal State San Bernardino 1-0. It’s a record ninth time they’ve been named champions.
It’s the Tritons’ twelfth win and ninth shutout in a row and brings their conference record to an undefeated 11-0. Their overall record stands at 15-2.
UCSD now has a shutout stretch of 835:25, the second longest streak for the Tritons since 2000. Their No. 8 ranking is also
They’ll attempt to make it a perfect 12-0 conference season on Saturday. If they achieve that they’ll be the first team in the CCAA to do since 1998.
