The North Park Music Fest on Saturday, June 6, is expected to draw more than
5,000 fans of local bands to the uptown neighborhood.
“This festival is more than a music event — it’s a celebration of the creativity, culture, and
community that makes North Park special,” said North Park Main Street executive director
Chad Matkowski. “Whether you’re discovering a new local band, supporting a
neighborhood business, or simply exploring the district, North Park Music Fest offers
something for everyone.”
The festival will run from noon to 1:45 a.m. at venues like Bivouac Ciderworks, Pretzels &
Pints, Queen Bee’s, The Office Bar, and True North Tavern throughout the community.
Featured artists include Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Cut Chemist, Brainstory, The
Gaslamp Killer, Sugar Candy Mountain and 30 more performers.

The festival also features a free community stage at North Park Mini Park at 3812 29th St.,
where performances will take place from noon to 7 p.m. Additionally, venues such
as Bacari, El Comal, Pure Pawsh, Overload, Playground Art + Coffee, and VISUAL art +
supply. No wristband needed.
For those who choose the full fest experience, festival wristbands are $25 (fees included), and they can be purchased here.
The price increases to $35 the day of the event. A $65 VIP option ($75 day of) is also available that includes entry to a private lounge at Granada House to experience performances by Jesus Gonzalez and other guests, as well as front-of-the-line access at all festival venues, one complimentary drink, and curated appetizers.
Parking is available at the North Park Garage (350 spaces) at 3829 29th St. Attendees can also arrive to North Park by MTS bus lines 2, 6, 7, and 10.
As part of the event, the North Park-based Walkabout app is hosting a green room-type
experience at Union Cowork to serve as a home base for festivalgoers to connect with one
another.
Proceeds from the event support the work of the North Park Business and Neighborhood
Foundation, which helps fund beautification projects, public art initiatives, and community
programs, and efforts that strengthen the connection between community, culture, and
commerce in North Park.
