Oh, Friday night lights! Who doesn’t love a good high school football game?
Well, it’s usually a lot less fun when they don’t win. Good thing that’s not the case for Point Loma High’s Pointers.
The team finished their regular season last Friday and will enter the playoffs undefeated. Last time they went their entire regular season without a loss was 2005.
Going into the playoffs they were given a No. 5 seed in Division 1. If you want to learn more about how teams are seeded, our featured story explains that toward the end.
Their first-round game (against the lowest seed in the division) will be tomorrow at home in Point Loma. We have the rundown from the Pointers’ last game if you need to know which players to watch. If you want to skim through their entire season, Scott Hopkins has been covering it.
