A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries Monday in a collision with a car on an Emerald Hills-area street.
The 28-year-old man was riding his 2010 Harley-Davidson to the north in the 1100 block of Euclid Avenue about 11:30 a.m. when a southbound motorist made an illegal U-turn in front of him, according to San Diego police.
The two-wheeler hit the passenger side of the car and tumbled onto the roadway, Officer Dan Lasher said. Medics took the victim to a hospital for treatment of severe facial cuts and a broken jaw.
Intoxication was not believed to have been a factor in the accident, Lasher said.
