A new study by WalletHub revealed the Golden State has the eighth lowest tax rates in the nation.

The study, which was released Tuesday, showed California had the 11th lowest income tax and the 17th lowest real estate tax.

Alaska has the lowest tax rates in the country overall, while Illinois has the highest tax rates.
