If you’re still looking for date ideas for Valentine’s Day Weekend, you’re in luck. We scoured the county to see what’s hot and happening, and here’s what we found.
The Headquarters at Seaport is hosting a free, outdoor movie night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Attendees can expect to see the classic “Bonnie & Clyde” movie. Bring some blankets and pack a picnic dinner for a romantic night under the stars.
Celebrate the love you have for your girlfriends with a workout at Studio Barre Bird Rock. The studio is hosting a special class at 5:30 p.m. and invites gals to a social night at La Jolla Tap and Grill after class. Although the event is dubbed “Galentine,” men are still welcomed (at least the good ones!).
Does your honey love art? Stone and Glass, a glassblowing studio in Escondido, will host a “Hearts on Fire” event Saturday to celebrate its anniversary (and love, of course!). The event will allow attendees to see glass blowing demonstrations, participate in a glass sculpting class or purchase some Valentine’s Day-themed gifts.
Take your significant other to Oceanside for the 7th annual Brewbies Fest on Saturday. Attendees can expect to taste a variety of craft beers starting at 1 p.m. Top the night off with a walk down the Oceanside Pier.
Head over to Rancho Santa Fe for the San Dieguito 5K run or half marathon. The scenic run takes participants through a gorgeous route in North County. What’s more romantic than working out together? (Other than not working out.)
Experience a dose of culture with your love. The 11th annual San Diego Tet Festival runs Friday through Sunday and celebrates the Lunar New Year. Festival-goers can expect live entertainment, plenty of food and carnival rides. Plus, it’s free!
