The San Diego Gulls will conduct “Pink in the Rink” night at Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Admirals at Valley View Casino Center benefiting breast cancer research and awareness.
The Gulls will wear pink-themed jerseys to be auctioned at the American Hockey League game to benefit the nonprofit organization Susan G. Komen San Diego, the area chapter of the world’s largest breast cancer organization, whose mission includes fundraising for research to better detect breast cancer and to discover a vaccine to prevent the disease.
Breast cancer survivors and their supporters will be at the game and featured in the game presentation.
A portion of the revenue from tickets purchased through Susan G. Komen San Diego will benefit the organization.
