Two major freeway connectors will temporarily close in San Diego County Wednesday due to electrical work, officials said.

The closures will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday on the SR-905 onramp just east of the northbound Interstate 5 connector, and the northbound I-5 connector to eastbound SR-905, according to Caltrans.

Officials advised motorists on eastbound SR-905 to take the connector to northbound I-5, exit at Coronado Ave., turn left and enter southbound I-5, then reconnect to eastbound SR-905.

Northbound I-5 motorists headed to eastbound SR-905 were advised to also continue to Coronado Avenue, make a left, then enter southbound I-5 and reconnect to SR-905.

Traffic may also be affected near the San Ysidro Port of Entry.
