“I go to all different stores when I buy tickets,” Boson said. “I couldn’t believe when I scratched (the ticket) off to reveal the ‘LIFE’ symbol.”

Lottery officials said Boson told them he will take the annuity option that will pay him $2,500 per week for the next 25 years. He plans on buying another house and paying off a car.

The retired truck driver said he previously won $2,000 on a Daily 4 ticket and $1,000 on another scratchers ticket.

According to the lottery, the California Lucky Life game has six grand prize tickets, and Boson’s was the first to be claimed.
