The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department Saturday responded to a natural gas leak at 3202 N. Harbor Drive, which led authorities to close the bicycle path on the street’s bay side.

It was unclear what caused the gas leak, first reported at 10:53 a.m. Saturday, or if there were any injuries.

San Diego Harbor Police were controlling traffic. Meanwhile, Anthony Wagner of San Diego Gas & Electric said the gas line at the location, a Hertz rental car facility, was not broken.

The fire department expected to remain on the scene for up to two hours, an official said.
