One person was taken to a hospital Saturday after being extricated from a vehicle collision in the Clairemont Mesa East neighborhood, authorities said.

The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department reports that the collision was reported at 8:40 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Limerick Avenue and Acuna Street, and a crew arrived four minutes later.

One of the vehicles was parked at the time of the collision, the department said. A total of 19 personnel assisted in the vehicle rescue.

No further details were available about the nature of the injury.
