A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed Sunday when he veered into oncoming traffic on a Pt. Loma street.
The crash happened at 8:14 p.m. in the 600 block of Rosecrans Street, San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims said.
The unidentified motorcyclist was heading northbound and was weaving in and out of the southbound lane to pass vehicles, Heims said.
At one point, he didn’t move back to his lane in time and crashed head-on with a Chrysler Pacific, the officer said.
The man died at the scene, Heims said.
The driver of the Pacific remained at the scene and drugs or alcohol were not believed to be involved.
