A mild earthquake rattled the arid eastern reaches of San Diego County Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The 3.5-magnitude temblor struck just before 2 p.m., centered about four miles southwest of Borrego Springs, according to USGS.
Representatives of Cal Fire and the county Sheriff’s Department said their agencies had received no calls reporting any problems related to the quake.
