An exchange of gunfire erupted Tuesday between people in two vehicles on a National City street, but no victims or injuries were reported.
The car-to-car shooting took place in the 300 block of J Ave. shortly after 10:30 a.m., according to the National City Police Department.
The unidentified shooters fled immediately following the volley of gunshots and remained at large in the late afternoon, a dispatcher said.
No injuries were reported.
