
A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries when he was struck by a 2005 Lexus IS350 driven by a 20-year-old man in the Skyline neighborhood of San Diego, authorities said Friday.
San Diego Police Department officers responded to 100 S. Meadowbrook Drive at approximately 8:34 p.m. Thursday where they learned the Lexus’ driver was heading north on the 100 block of South Meadowbrook Drive when he struck the victim, who was in a traffic lane, said SDPD Officer Jose Perales.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with trauma to his head and body. Alcohol was not a factor in the collision, police said.
The department’s Traffic Division is handling the investigation and anyone with information related to this collision was asked to call 858-495- 7800 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
