As a result of the heavy storm and flooding in January, the clerks for the city of San Diego and the county will Tuesday expand services to assist flood survivors in replacing U.S. Passports.
City Clerk Diana Fuentes and Clerk of the Board of Supervisors Andrew Potter on Tuesday announced their offices are expanding Passport Services through the end of the month.
Flood survivors are encouraged to visit the U.S Department of State’s Replacing Your Passport After a Disaster webpage for details on eligibility: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/replacing-your- passport-through-the-disaster-recovery-reform-act.html.
Both offices will be available for flood survivors during business hours Tuesday through Friday, March 29, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to assist with the required forms. Spanish language assistance will also be available to ensure accessibility to all affected individuals.
People needing assistance with completing the forms may visit the following locations. No appointment is necessary for either location:
