Padres’ FanFest will take place on March 24, but this is the week you need to start planning, as tickets become available online.

The event, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m., is set to feature appearances by Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr., Xander Bogaerts, Joe Musgrove, Yu Darvish, new manager Mike Shildt and more.

Tickets to FanFest are free, but must be claimed in advance – and they often are gone well before the fest.

Season ticket members will have first access to digital tickets on Thursday, with public access to follow Friday. Fans are limited to four tickets per person.

One other way to tap into early access – subscribe to team text messages by texting PADRES to 78469.

In addition to taking photos with and receiving autographs from Padres players and alumni, the 2024 FanFest will include the opportunity to start celebrating the 20th anniversary of Petco Park and see the grand opening of the newly renovated Gallagher Square.

New this year – the inaugural Celebrity/Alumni Softball game. It will pit Padres alumni Trevor Hoffman and Tony Gwynn, Jr. against each other as opposing manager, and feature notable Padres fans from the NFL, Olympics, NWSL, WNBA, UFC, college sports and entertainment legends.

Other alums set to attend include Randy Jones, Mark Loretta, Steve Finley and Garry Templeton.
