A 38-year-old woman died from her injuries after being struck by a pickup truck as she crossed a street in the Lake Murray neighborhood.
The driver, also aged 38, ran a red light and struck the victim as she crossed the 7300 block of Navajo Road at 6:23 p.m. Thursday, San Diego Police Department Officer Robert Heims said.
The victim died at a hospital, and the driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI Heims said.
