A fire was confined to the kitchen of a two-story home in Scripps Ranch Wednesday, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said.
The fire was reported at 5:43 a.m. Wednesday at a home in the 9800 block of Aviary Drive, according to a San Diego fire online log.
Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from a two-story residence when they arrived. Crews attacked the fire and confined it to the kitchen. No injuries were reported.
The fire didn’t cause damage to the rest of the home so the residence was turned over to the homeowner after overhaul was complete.
