A 7-year-old girl died when she was hit by a pickup truck in Oceanside Sunday, police said.
The Oceanside Police Department said the girl and her family walked across Mission Avenue at Fireside Street when she was struck about 2 p.m. by an oncoming Toyota Tundra.
The child was taken to Tri-City Hospital, where she later died, police said.
Police told FOX5 the crash was determined an accident and the driver won’t be arrested.
