Illegal explosives, weapons and drugs turned up in a search warrant in Santee, and two men remained jailed Friday, deputies said.
Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant Thursday at a residence on the 8700 block of Lind Vern Court in Santee. Sheriff’s Sergeant Joel Stranger said deputies found illegal weapons and drug paraphernalia including a homemade explosive device and sellable amounts of marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin.
Deputies arrested John Roders, 27, and Jae Roders, 25. Both men were booked into jail on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
John Roders was also named as a felon in possession of ammunition and possessing a destructive device.
He was held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
In addition, Jae Roders was also booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of an illegal weapon. He was held in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Kalley Olson, 19, was also present at the time of the search and was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. She has since been released, Stranger said.
