A pedestrian was struck and killed Thursday by a cement-mixer truck at an intersection near Palomar College.
The fatal accident at Grand Avenue and South Las Posas Road in San Marcos occurred about 9:30 a.m., according to sheriff’s officials.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene, Lt. Clayton Lisk said.
It was not immediately clear who had the right of way at the time of the crash.
