A trough of low pressure will move through the San Diego region on Friday and Saturday, bringing clouds and patchy drizzle but no rain.

The marine layer will be deep and skies will be mostly cloudy west of the mountains during nights and mornings.

The system will also bring strong and gusty winds through mountain passes and into parts of the desert.

Moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Andres will move into Arizona, missing Southern California.

The National Weather Service forecast for the coasts and inland valleys of San Diego calls for possible patchy drizzle in the morning with highs 66 to 71.

Highs on Saturday will be 65 to 70 near the coast and 68 to 73 inland.

Warmer weather and more sunshine is expected early next week.
