The 38th annual Holiday Bowl will take place Wednesday, Dec. 30, organizers of the college football postseason game announced Monday.
Kickoff between representatives of the Pacific-12 and Big Ten conferences will be at 7:30 p.m. at Qualcomm Stadium.
Last year’s contest, a 45-42 victory by USC over Nebraska, drew an audience of 6.7 million television viewers, making it one of the most-watched bowl games. The game also attracted nearly 55,800 fans to the stadium.
The San Diego Bowl Association previously announced that San Diego’s other game, the Poinsettia Bowl, will be played Dec. 23. For the first time, it will feature an afternoon kickoff at 1:30 p.m.
