One person died early Saturday after a wrong-way driver collided with two other vehicles on the Cabrillo Freeway in Mission Valley.
The collisions occurred just south of Interstate 8 at 1:35 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol online incident log.
One person died at the scene of the accident. The wrong-way vehicle was a white pickup truck.
The accident is under investigation for the CHP and other law enforcement authorities.
