Two brush fires burned about 30 acres at Camp Pendleton Saturday, authorities said.
The blazes started about 1 p.m. just northwest of the Oceanside Municipal Golf Course, off Golf Course Road.
Crews began fighting the flames on the ground and eventually called in an aircraft to assist, according to Camp Pendleton Director of Public Affairs Jason Johnston.
No injuries were reported and no structures were in danger, Johnston said.

The fires mostly were contained and crews were beginning mop up operations, according to an update issued about 6:25 p.m. on the base’s official Twitter account.
The cause of the fires has not been determined.
