A woman pulled a gun on a clerk at an East County pharmacy Tuesday and stole a small amount of a prescription painkiller, authorities reported.
The robber, who appeared to be 20 to 30 years old, confronted the employee at the CVS store in the 9700 block of Mission Gorge Road in Santee about 4:30 a.m., displayed a silver-and-black pistol and demanded 10 milligrams of Percocet, according to sheriff’s officials. She fled with the drug in an unknown direction.
She was described as a roughly 5-foot-6-inch, 150-pound white, Hispanic or Middle Eastern woman, wearing black pants, a dark-colored Pink-brand sweat shirt and black boots.
