A woman suffered injuries Sunday after she fell off a bike on a hiking trail northeast of Lake Hodges, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said.

Fire dispatchers received a call for help at 12:43 p.m. Sunday. Ten minutes later, rescue crews arrived at the scene on 12673 Sunset Drive near San Diego’s border with Escondido, said Battalion Commander David Pilkerton.

A total of 32 fire personnel aided in the rescue. A helicopter, one rescue unit, four fire engines, one fire truck and one medic went to the scene, according to an incident log.

Medics sent the woman to Palomar Medical Center with unknown injuries.
