A slow-moving, low-pressure system off the Southern California coast is heading southeast toward San Diego, bringing clouds and possible thunderstorms Wednesday.

The National Weather Service forecasts a 20 percent change of showers and isolated thunderstorms through Thursday afternoon. Most precipitation will fall in the mountains and and inland valleys.

Coastal San Diego County should see highs of 70 to 75 with light winds. Wednesday night will be cooler, with lows ranging from 49 to 58.

Cloudy conditions will continue until Friday.
