A vehicle struck two parked cars and overturned in the unincorporated community of 4S Ranch on Tuesday afternoon, briefly trapping the driver.
Fire crews extricated the motorist from the wreckage following the crash that occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of 4S Ranch Parkway and Lone Quail Road according to the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol.
The driver was taken to a hospital, but the extent of his or her injuries was not immediately clear.
All three vehicles sustained major damage, according to the CHP.
