The rain and snow that drenched San Diego County are finally giving way to a warming trend.

A ridge building along the West Coast coupled with the offshore winds will gradually warm the region into the weekend, with temperatures peaking on Saturday.

Inland temperatures will reach 6 to 18 degrees above seasonal averages, according to the National Weather Service.

The forecast for Wednesday calls for highs 64 to 69 with light winds. Thursday will be warmer, with highs 70 to 75.

Skies will be mostly clear through the weekend.
