A motorist was arrested on suspicion of felony drunken driving Saturday after allegedly triggering a four-vehicle traffic crash in Vista.
A driver going northbound on Santa Fe Avenue struck three vehicles traveling in the same direction. The motorist then crossed over into the southbound lanes and crashed into a business, said San Diego Sheriff‘s Sgt. Debbie Eglin.
Eglin said deputies were dispatched to the scene at Santa Fe and California avenues at 9:12 p.m. Saturday.
One person, complaining of neck pain, was transported to an area hospital. The business did not appear to have sustained any significant damage, she said.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department did not release the name of the suspected drunken motorist.
