A man was shot to death Wednesday afternoon on a busy commercial street in Spring Valley.
San Diego Sheriff‘s deputies from the Rancho San Diego station responded at 12:22 p.m. to multiple calls of shots fired in the 8700 block of Troy Street.
Upon arrival, they learned that three residents took a man to a hospital where he died, according Lt. Joel Stranger. Authorities later identified the victim as Arnolfo Quintero, 26.
Stranger said the investigation is ongoing and there are no suspects. The San Diego County Medical Examiner was called to the scene.
