A 38-year-old man was shot in the head and back in an apparent gang-related attack in Stockton but he was expected to survive.
The man was shot while leaning against a car in the 3200 block of J Street around 10 p.m. Tuesday, according to San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros.
A witness heard the gunfire and saw two males in their late teens running away, he said in a statement.
