Nearly 3,000 utility customers in Chula Vista were deprived of power which went down Friday at 4:10 p.m., SDG&E officials said.
The utility is assessing the outage, which temporarily deprived 2,810 residences of power, to determine the cause.
Power was estimated to be restored by 7 p.m.
