The San Diego Padres are reaching out to various communities throughout the region with pop-up shops, the first of which will appear Saturday in Mission Valley.

The shops will feature brown and gold gear, from jerseys to T-shirts, an assortment of hats, and more. For a limited time, shoppers will receive a Padres-branded face mask with purchases.

The shops will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. this weekend and for the following five weekends at these sites:

  • Saturday and Sunday – Mission Valley, Puesto, 5010 Mission Center Road
  • March 20-21 – Petco Point Loma, 3495 Sports Arena Blvd.
  • March 27-27 – Petco El Cajon, 540 N 2nd St., Suite 540
  • April 3-4 – Chula Vista, Board & Brew Eastlake, 1610 Millenia Ave., #105
  • April 10-11 – Ocean Beach, Hodad’s, 5010 Newport Ave.
  • April 17-18 – Petco Carmel Mountain, 11160 Rancho Carmel Drive

The team opens the season at home on April 1 with a four-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
