San Diego police were on the lookout Wednesday for the man who robbed a downtown coffee shop by pretending he had a gun.
The robber simulated having a weapon and took money from a cash register at Tom N Toms Coffee at 1229 Ninth Ave. shortly after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to San Diego police Officer Dan Lasher. No one was injured, he said.
Police described the suspect as Hispanic, in his 20s and between 5 feet 2 and 5 feet 6. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
