It’s that time of year again for giving.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department will co-host this year’s San Diego Regional Law Enforcement Teddy Bear Drive.  Join the fun evening on Tuesday, Nov. 18 from 5  to 7 p.m. at Chick-fil-A Sports Arena, 3570 Sports Arena Blvd.

Be sure to bring a new, huggable teddy bear or stuffed animal (with tags attached) to Chick-fil-A Sports Arena and receive a free meal.

All teddy bear donations will be delivered to young patients at Rady Children’s Hospital in December.

The family-friendly event will feature plenty of things to see and do. Meet members of the sheriff’s specialized units. The Sheriff’s Sky Watch tower will be on display, as well as other sheriff’s vehicles.

If you can’t make it to Chick-fil-A on Nov. 18, you can drop off a new teddy bear or stuffed animal to any sheriff’s station or substation (www.sdsheriff.net/patrol) or county courthouse (www.sdsheriff.net/courts) from Wednesday, Nov. 12 to Monday, Dec. 8th during business hours.
