A bicyclist was struck and killed Tuesday by a SUV after riding through a red light at a Midway District intersection.
The 57-year-old man was riding east on Hancock Street and crossed into the intersection with Camino Del Rio West against the traffic signal at about 11:10 p.m. , according to San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros.
He was struck by a southbound Jeep Grand Cherokee and died at the scene, Delimitros said. His name was not immediately available.
